CPR/AED/FIRST AID Training
 
The Kokomo Family YMCA and American Safety & Health Institute have teamed up to provide a comprehensive CPR & Basic First Aid program.  American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) is a leading provider of basic and advanced emergency care and resuscitation training programs. ASHI training programs have been used to teach and certify emergency care providers in health care, business, industry and the general public since 1996.
 
ASHI's resuscitation programs for basic and advanced life support conform to national standards and are based on the same scientific guidelines and treatment recommendations used by the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Red Cross (ARC) for course development. ASHI professional resuscitation programs meet the requirements of the Joint Commision and the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services.  
 
Registration is required at least 3 days before class begins.

CPR-AED & FIRST AID PROGRAM

CPR-PRO 

This program is designed for individuals in the healthcare or professional rescuer field that are required to have professional-level basic life support training.  Two year certification.

COMMUNITY CPR/AED

Individuals who do not work in the healthcare field but are occupationally required to or desire to, have CPR knowledge and skills, such as emergency response teams in business and industry, teachers, school bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, child care workers, parents, and babysitters. Two year certification

BASIC FIRST AID

Individuals who are required or desire elementary first aid knowledge and skills; including emergency response teams in business and industry, teachers, shcool bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, child care workers, parents, and babysitters. Two year certification

COMBINATON TRAINING:  COMMUNITY CPR/AED & BASIC FIRST AID
