Ages 6-14 years of age. (5 if entering upcoming school year)
 
Camp Tycony offers a perfect program for children aged 6 - 14 years. The YMCA summer camp program is great for working parents or for any parent that is interested in giving their kids a fresh, outdoor summer experience. They will build memories to last a lifetime.
 
Camp Tycony is a Howard County Tradition! Camp Tycony is designed for active kids who would rather be out in the woods building a fort and canoeing on a pond, than sitting in front of a TV or computer screen all day!
 
CAMP HOURS:
 
6:00 am - 9:00 am is set aside for pre-camp. Camp does not officially begin until 9:00am. However, we understand parents need care before so we do offer care which includes activities such as camp set-up, crafts, and outdoor games. WE DO NOT OFFER BREAKFAST.
 
9:00 am - 4:00 pm would be our camp day. We are outside the majority of the day and our activities are scheduled
 
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm is considered post camp.
 
Camper Ages: 6-14 years of age
(5 years if they are entering Kindergarten next school year.)
 
Activities Include: Swimming and swim lessons at the YMCA, theme weeks, canoeing & kayaks, campfire cooking, archery, drama/music, arts & crafts, lots of messy play and good ole fashion summer fun!
 
DAY CAMP FEES
 
Registration Fee is $25/child and $30/family
 
Our Day Camp program will have two options this summer for your convenience. You may either enroll your child(ren) for all five (5) days or for a part-time three (3) day week.
