Fall Little Dribblers
Little Dribblers is designed to teach children the basic fundamentals of basketball: ball handling, dribbling, shooting, and passing. We keep the focus on fun and learning and pepper each Little Dribblers experience with life lessons such as listening, sharing and teamwork.
Youth Instructional Volleyball
Bump! Set! Spike! This Volleyball program provides a great way to learn and/or improve your volleyball skills under the instruction of a knowledgeable instructor. This program features skills & drills to continue building on a fundamental knowledge of volleyball while simultaneously improving other fundamental skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication and confidence!
Fall Indoor Centipede Soccer
This program focuses on the fundamentals of soccer in a non-competitive atmosphere. Games are implemented into the program as it progresses. This program is YMCA instructor led.
Those enrolled in the Kokomo YMCA cheerleading program will learn cheerleading basics with an emphasis on growing skills in teamwork, leadership, confidence and sportsmanship. Basic Cheerleading skills include: motions and technique, jumps, dance, chants, cheers, and stunts. Cheerleaders will perform at basketball games at the YMCA for family and friends to showcase what they learn!
Sports Medley for 3 Year Olds
This new program gives our 3-year-olds a taste of each sport the Y has to offer. Whether it be soccer, basketball, or t-ball, they will have a chance to experience it all in a 6-week program (2 weeks of each sport)!
Fall Youth Basketball
Our league is an equal mix of fun and learning. Children will play at least half of every game. Our kids continue to build fundamental skills ; ball handling and shooting, building self-esteem & learning the value of teamwork. If you’re looking for a great place to volunteer, we are always looking for coaches to help invest in our youth!
Fall Youth Soccer
Our Youth Soccer is a kickin’ time! Kids will spend an hour learning the fundamentals of the game in a non-competitive atmosphere, while furthering their skills and coordination. The benefits of the Y’s youth sports programs for our littlest ones are big both on and off the field including an introduction to listening, teamwork & dedication!
