Youth Cheerleading (Ages 4-12)
Those enrolled in the Kokomo YMCA cheerleading program will learn cheerleading basics with an emphasis on growing skills in teamwork, leadership, confidence and sportsmanship. Basic Cheerleading skills include: motions and technique, jumps, dance, chants, cheers, and stunts. Cheerleaders will perform at basketball games at the YMCA for family and friends to showcase what they learn! Register HERE
SPRING T-BALL (AGES 4-6)
Introduce your child to America’s favorite pastime! There’s nothing like watching your little one whack a ball right off the tee and sprint to first base! Our one-day/week T-ball league introduces kids to the rules and fundamentals of baseball. There are no try-outs and no practices for this league. We place emphasis on working together as a team while encouraging other teammates to be successful. Register HERE
YOUTH INSTRUCTIONAL VOLLEYBALL (AGES 8-14)
Bump! Set! Spike! This Volleyball program provides a great way to learn and/or improve your volleyball skills under the instruction of a knowledgeable instructor. This program features skills & drills to continue building on a fundamental knowledge of volleyball while simultaneously improving other fundamental skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication and confidence! CENTIPEDE SOCCER (Ages 4 - 6)
Centipede Soccer is the perfect introduction to the game of soccer. Children will learn the fundamentals of the game in a non-competitive atmosphere, while working on motor skills, coordination and listening skills. The benefits of the Y’s youth sport programs for our littlest ones are big both on and off the field. Register HERE
