Summer Discovery Camp

Summer Discovery is a great, safe, summer camp for kids happening at the Y downtown. Even though this camp takes place in downtown Kokomo, your child will still have the opportunity to have fun outdoors exploring nature 3 times a week at Camp Tycony. At Summer Discovery, there are plenty of opportunities for your child to find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships & memories. 

Summer Discovery allows your child to have fun while learning, with a major focus on STEAM activities and enrichment. Through STEAM based activities, we will combat summer learning loss which is more important than ever right now! It’s also important to make sure our kids are active through trips to Camp Tycony three times a week and swimming twice a week. Nutrition plays a big part, so you can count on breakfast, lunch and snacks to be provided. This program serves ages completed Kindergarten through 5th grade (We will take children that have completed 5th grade and are going into Middle School in the fall.). Summer Discovery offers a perfect environment for laughing, playing, and learning.
