PHASE RED: FAQs


Q: What is Nationwide Membership?

A: Nationwide membership is a program through which Y members can use YMCA facilities outside of their “home” Y, or the Y to which they pay dues. During Phase Red, we have paused our participation in Nationwide Membership so that the Kokomo YMCA can serve our home members in the safest way possible. 

Q: How do I sign up for classes?

A: You can register Online, though our App, In-person or by calling our Membership Desk at 765.457.4447. For online Registration click here. If the class is full, you can call the Membership Desk to be waitlisted. 

Q: Do I have to wear a mask?

A: We would ask that members wear masks when they are not actively working out. This includes throughout the lobby, the locker rooms, all social areas and when moving between locations. When your workout is done and your heart rate has normalized, please wear your mask as you move to the next area. 

Q: Are Guest Passes available?

A: No guest passes will be sold during Phase Red.

Q: Is the Sauna and Steam Room open?

A: The Sauna and Steam Room are open. There is a capacity limit for physical distancing. (Sauna limit of 2 occupants, Steam room limit of 2 occupants.)
