Do you need help restarting your resolutions? Join the challenge and hit the RESET button! Then, help members and your community sign up for the challenge too! RESET helps us start 2023 off right and become strong in spirit, mind and body….while having fun!

What is the Reset Challenge?

We are offering everyone a FREE 3-week Mind-Body-Spirit challenge. Our goal is simple; YOU CHOOSE your next healthy habit and we give you the tools and motivation to help that new habit stick. Not only will you build a new, healthy habit but there are chances to win weekly prizes with RESET BINGO! We will also have a closed Facebook group where we will provide you with challenges, full access to virtual workouts, inspiration, community and encouragement. 

How do I register?

This challenge is for EVERYONE- our members and our community. RESET Challenge sign-ups open January 23rd! Participants  sign up by texting* RESET to 844-889-6222! You will receive a text with a form link to fill out. Complete the registration and make sure you select our YMCA: Delmar E. Demaree. You will receive 3 messages* each week with coach challenges, inspiration, and community.

How do I get Started?

Step 1: Choose a Healthy Habit to build over the next 3 weeks (94% of people that set a goal stick with it 9 months later). Tell us your habit(s)

Step 2: Find a partner, join our closed Facebook group or a virtual group! (You are 95% more likely to achieve your goals if you have an accountability partner)

Step 3: Track your success and have fun in the process by playing RESET Bingo! Each week during the challenge you will have a new board. Just get 5 in a row to be entered to win prizes! Learn more about the BINGO here.

RESET Challenge FAQs
What is this Challenge?
  • FREE 3-week Mind-Body-Spirit challenge, in which your goal is to Build ONE Healthy Habit
  • Habits can vary, see the Strong Challenge website for examples
  • Fitness, nutrition, mental health, spiritual health, etc. 
  • Open to members and community
  • The Challenge begins on Monday, Feb. 13th (ends March 3rd)
  • Registration is now open! Text RESET to 844-889-6222
How do I register?
  • RESET Challenge sign-ups open January 23rd – participants sign up by texting RESET to 844-889-6222
  • Fill out the form linked in the text reply to complete the registration. Make sure you select our YMCA: Delmar E. Demaree
  • Don’t have a phone or don't text? Give us your email! Register them online. ONLY if they don’t have a phone! If they don’t want to give out their phone number, have them use an email address. 
  • You will receive 3 messages each week with coach challenges, inspiration, and community.

What is in it for Members?
  • Chances to win weekly prizes with RESET BINGO
  • RESET helps us start 2023 off right and become strong in spirit, mind and body….while having fun!
  • Closed Facebook Community to help encourage and support you during the Challenge

What is in it for Non-members?
  • Use of YMCA360 for the period of the RESET Challenge (Feb 13-March 3). YMCA360 is our on-demand platform.

  • Closed Facebook Community to help encourage and support you during the Challenge.

How can I play RESET Bingo?
  • Mobile/Desktop: Track your success by saving the mobile Bingo board (texted to you each week) or from the Strong Life Website
  • Print: Print off the board from the Strong Life Website and physically mark off your boxes. We will also have copies at the Membership Desk.
  • BINGO: Once you get 5 in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), visit our link and fill out this brief form to enter to win the weekly prize!
  • Week 1-3 Prizes: $50 Gift Cards

Are their prizes?
  • Enter to win weekly $50 Gift Cards for playing RESET Bingo

How can I build my Healthy Habit?
  • Take advantage of all the resources and support on StrongLife.org: Workout routines, classes, recipes, nutritional advice, playlists, meditation series, and more!
  • Come to the YMCA in-person!
  • Join our closed Facebook group where you will find resources, motivation, encouragement and community! 


What happens if I miss one of the days during the challenge?
Do not fret! This challenge is a journey, not a sprint. If you miss a day, come back the next one and try again! The physical goal each week is to move 150 minutes; Do your best to reach that goal!
Texting Opt-In Questions
  • Don’t have a phone or don't text? Give us your email by registering online. 
  • Text not going through? If you did STRONG in August 2020, RESET in February 2021, Summer Out Loud in July 2021, or STRONG in Fall 2021, try texting “UNSTOP” to the same number and then try again texting “RESET”
  • You will receive 3 messages each week with coach challenges, inspiration, and community

Group Help
  • Join an Accountability Group of 4-5 people from across the country by filling out the interest form at stronglife.org/groups to help you with your challenge success. Fill out the interest form to choose a Zoom date/time (Feb. 10, 11, or 12) to be placed into a group of 4-5 people for the challenge
  • Deadline to join a group is by the last Zoom: February 12th at 6PM EST.
