The “C” in the YMCA MEMBERSHIP

We take the YMCA’s mission, “To put Christian principles into AQUATICS
practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind
and body for all” and the Christian aspect of our heritage SPORTS
seriously at the Kokomo YMCA. Our faith is woven into our
mission, values and our everyday lives, which also includes HEALTH & WELLNESS
respecting everyone’s faith while sharing the good news. We
strive to strengthen the spiritual life of not only ourselves CHILD CARE
but others in many ways. Here is just a small sample:
GIVING
• We have a chapel dedicated to prayer, fellowship,
resources, lending library and reflection.

• We have a prayer box open to the members and we pray
over the prayer requests individually.

• We host Huddle, a men’s Bible study weekly.
• Christian values are instilled in our programs.

Nationwide Membership

Your home Y is where you scan 51% of the time. Our YMCA
believes that the Y community doesn’t stop when you leave
home. We know that sometimes, it is more convenient for a Y
member to utilize a Y in a different location when traveling,
near a workplace, or in another region. The Y’s Nationwide
Membership program allows active, full-facility members in
good standing to use any participating
Y in the nation, as much as they
would like and to sign up for
programs at the member rate.
Most YMCA’s require a photo
ID for all visitors. Please
bring a photo ID with you
for a seamless customer
experience. You will be asked
to sign a waiver when visiting
other YMCA locations. If you
