The Haynes Apperson 5K is right around the corner – On Saturday, July 5th, participants can walk/run the scenic course through downtown Kokomo and Foster Park along the Walk of Excellence trail. + What should I do if I registered in 2023 or 2024?
Those who have registered in 2023 and 2024 WILL NOT need to re-register again as we have transferred your registration over to this year’s race. At packet pickup, please give your FIRST and LAST name used when you registered in the past races. You will also receive a t-shirt as well.
+ When is the race?
This years Haynes Apperson will be on Saturday, July 5th! Start your holiday weekend off by buring some calories with friends and family!
+ What time is the race?
The race will take place at 9:00am! Please meet at the YMCA start/finish line arch at 8:50am and await for further instructions. Runners will need to be closer to the front and walkers towards the rear.
+ WHEN IS PACKET PICK UP?
Packet pickup will be at the Kokomo Family YMCA:
Thursday, July 3rd from 12:00pm – 6pm
Saturday July 5th from 7:15am – 8:15am
+ DO I GET A t-SHIRT?
All registrants who register by Friday, June 13th 11:59pm will receive a short sleeve t-shirt.
+ WHAT IS THE COURSE?
The Haynes Apperson 5K race will be located at the downtown Kokomo Family YMCA located at 114 North Union Street. Parking is located in the parking garage adjacent to the YMCA. The race will start at the Kokomo Family YMCA and go through Foster Park, UCT, Kokomo Beach and back on the Walk of Excellence Trail that will lead back to the Kokomo YMCA.
