YMCA $5000 DINNER
Enjoy Live Music, Buffet-style Dinner, Silent Auction and a chance to win $5000!WHEN:
Friday March 13, 2020 Doors open at 5:00 PM for early bidding on silent auction items. Bar opens and music begins at 5:00 PM, as well. $5000 Dinner Event begins at 6:15 PM.
WHERE: Celebrations Banquet Hall
TICKETS: Tickets pre-sold. A ticket is $130 and is good for 2 people. Tables can be purchase for $520. Tables are 8 people. (4 tickets). If a table is purchased the table seating is reserved.

There is a total of 145 tickets available.
DINNER: Buffet style. Catered by Celebrations.
BEVERAGES: Coke products are included as part of dinner, and a cash bar is also available.
ATTIRE: Dress is business casual. (No jeans please.)
HOW THE DINNER WORKS
The main event at the $5000 Dinner is our unique reverse lottery where you have a chance to walk away with $5000 at the end of the evening. Here’s how it works: We assign numbers to each of the 150 tickets. The number is located on each of the tickets. We begin the night with every number in our tumbler. The number is on a ping pong ball. One by one we eliminate numbers by pulling out a ball. The final 10 numbers left in the tumbler will be asked to the Winner’s Table, where they will get their chance to strike a deal with the other ticket-holders – or press on and walk away with the $5000 prize themselves!
HOW CAN I INCREASE MY CHANCES? Buy insurance. By purchasing insurance for your ticket, you buy a one-time exemption when your ticket is drawn out of the pool, giving you an extra chance at the ultimate prize. Insurance is $20.
Additional ticket raffle. In addition to the 145 tickets sold to guests, the Y raffles off an extra 5 tickets to give you another shot at the prize. Raffle tickets are $10 for one or $20 for 3. Fun stat: The winners of the 5 tickets increase their chances to 1:75 of taking home the prize.
WHERE DO THE FUNDS GO?
The funds raised allow us to offer Y’s life-changing programs and service to everyone in our community. At the Y, no one is turned away due to financial hardship. In fact, last year we gave away more than $239,000 in discounted programs and services and welcomed more than 1,750 men, women and children into the Y family who couldn’t otherwise afford it.
WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?
Included in the evening is a silent auction that is jam packed with great items. Proceeds from the auction support the annual campaign.
